Lake County Farm Bureau also participated in the Lowell Futurama fair in May. We displayed an array of careers associated with agriculture. We told how the agricultural industry is much more than farming! Agriculture generates more than 22 million jobs in the U.S., and most are located off of farms. In fact, less than two percent of Americans are actively engaged in farming, but agribusiness employs one out of every seven workers in the U.S.!
